Prior to his law career, Dominic worked as a sportfishing guide on the Alaskan Peninsula guiding clients for all species of salmon, halibut and rainbow trout. He also spent time working for Oregon State University’s College Forests while attending OSU.

- Represented numerous private ranches in Oregon as intervenor-defendants and plaintiffs in case challenging Forest Service’s and National Marine Fisheries Service’s authorization of grazing permits on the Malheur National Forest under the ESA.
- Stout v. Forest Service, No. 09-152-HA (D. Or.)
- Represented private ranch as a plaintiff in a challenge to Forest Service’s management of wild horses on the Malheur National Forest based on Sections 7 and 9 of the ESA.

Julie grew up in Douglas County and spent much of her youth outdoors with her father, a local forester. After supporting her husband’s military career in the U.S. Navy, Julie returned to Oregon and attended the University of Oregon School of Law. During law school, Julie worked in various legal fields including private civil practice, an internship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and an externship with the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Since graduating in 2020, Julie has practiced in both criminal and civil practice.
